25th Annual Fall Fair September 22 & 23, 2018

With popularity of farmers markets flourishing throughout the province, it is no surprise that the Pass Creek Fall Fair is celebrating 25 years bringing local produce, artisans, food and more homegrown talent to Castlegar. 2018 Pass Creek Fall Fair Booklet
This years fall fair will kick into high gear, with colours bursting and days significantly cooler, many from Castlegar and surrounding area will be happy to get out this weekend, September 22nd & 23rd, to honour local handmade goodness for one last time before Christmas markets get rolling in a couple of months.
There will, of course, be something for just about everyone.
For those in need of a vintage fix, the antique car show will be back in full swing. And if attending a local country fair is your game, Pass Creek Regional Exhibition Grounds will be where you want to be!
Kids will be kept happy and entertained in the children’s area where there will be plenty of games and Bubbles the Clown pulling out all kinds of fun and surprises.
Oh… and the bouncey tent! What kid doesn’t love the bouncey tent! And, if that wasn’t enough, there will be a full nine holes in the Mini-Golf! The kids will have hours of fun to look forward to!
As always there will be plenty to choose from the Pass Creek Fair Concession, but also the many food vendors, who will tempt you with everything from the pancake breakfast first thing both mornings dogs, burgers and fries and just about anything else you might think of a little later!
The days will be full of the “Exciting Laughing Logging Show”, Lawn Mower races and other amazing displays of talent by our local youth.
A fall fair just isn’t complete without great local examples of the homegrown, homespun and hand made. Along with arts, crafts, baking, preserving and needlecraft you’ll find an abundance of gorgeous flowers and garden produce. There are prizes to be won! Including a $100 prize for the winner of this year’s Scarecrow competition.
You looking for animals? There will be no shortage, a petting zoo runs Friday through Sunday with events taking place throughout.
Parking is always a concern, so to minimize congestion, a bus will be running from the Castlegar Complex and Heritage Museum to the fairgrounds. Simply park your car at these locations and catch the free round-trip bus that will run from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days.
